Fluent Europe Training - FLUENT User Defined Functions
The length of the course is one day. Training is from 9.15am to 5.00pm. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
Prerequisites
The course assumes you have previous FLUENT 6 experience and some knowledge of C-programming.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this course you should be able to:
- Create your own UDFs,
- Compile UDFs,
- Execute UDFs.

- Interpreted/Compiled UDF,
- UDF Hooks - ‘DEFINE’ macro-s,
- User Defined Scalars and Memories
- UDF for Discrete Phase Model
- UDF for Multiphase Flows
- UDF for Parallel FLUENT
- Miscellaneous Functions / Macros
Workshop:
Trainees will have the opportunity of setting their own UDF problems with help from a member of our technical support staff. This session is an important part of the course. Please bring with you as much information as possible about your application. (Or send us details along with your registration form.) If you do not have a particular application for a user defined function, several examples will be available for you to work through.
