Fluent Europe Training - FLUENT Introduction
The length of the course is two days. Most attendees will want to have taken our Standard GAMBIT training course which immediately preceeded this FLUENT course.
Training is from 9.15am to 5.00pm on each day.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

The course assumes you have no prior experience of working with any of our software.

Learning Objectives
Processing:
For a given software you should be able to:
- Select appropriate physical models,
- Define material properties,
- Prescribe boundary and operating conditions,
- Set solver controls,
- Set up solution convergence monitors.
- Provide an initial solution,
Postprocessing:
- Display and examine results.
Course Agenda
Day 1: Overview of the FLUENT CFD software
Lectures:
- Introduction to CFD Analysis,
- Solver Basics,
- Boundary Conditions,
- Solver Settings.
Hands-On:
Trainees are able to choose from a variety of prepared tutorials
Day 2: More advanced topics, and personal coaching
Lectures:
- Turbulence Modelling,
- Heat Transfer and Thermal Boundary Conditions.
Personal Coaching:
Trainees have the opportunity of working on their own modelling problems with the help from a member of our technical support staff. This session is an important part of the course. Please bring with you as much information as possible about your application.
