Fluent Europe Training - MIXSIM

The length of the course is two days. Training is from 9.15am to 5.00pm. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

Prerequisites

This course assumes no prior knowledge of CFD modelling, however a general appreciation of mixing processes is expected.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this course you should be able to:

• Use the MIXSIM software to set up and run single phase stirred tank models
• Extract relevant process information from the CFD models (blend time, power draw etc.)
• Have a general appreciation of the different multiphase and turbulence models available and when to use them with respect to stirred tank applications.

• Workshop session (Chance to set up a simulation analogous to your actual interests, under the watchful eye of a Fluent Engineer)
