Fluent Europe Training Courses Available

We offer a range of training courses to suit all needs, whether you are a new user to our software, an advanced user wanting specialist training, or even someone not necessarily a CFD user, but wanting training in either the basics of fluid mechanics, or advice on how to manage others involved in CFD. Finally, if your need is unique, you can arrange to have a specialist course with one of our engineers.

New User Training

Our standard new-user training takes place over 4 days, with the first two days spent on geometry and mesh creation with GAMBIT, then the third and fourth day spent on the FLUENT CFD solver.  On the final half-day of the course, trainees are encouraged to set up an analogous simulation to that of their actual needs, under the watchful eye of a Fluent engineer, and of course electronic copies of all the files created during the training course can be taken away.

Advanced User Training

Foundation Course

We have a foundation course in Fluid Mechanics and CFD for those who are either new to the discipline, or who are concerned about how much they have forgotten! On the first day, the underlying principles of fluid mechanics are taught, then on the second day, the underlying principles of CFD are covered.

CFD for Managers

This course is aimed at those who are involved in the management of the CFD process, either overseeing project engineers, or in managing CFD sub-contracts.It provides an understanding of the CFD process, knowing what to expect, areas of uncertainty, quality and trust, project timescales, and areas of greatest project risk.
