Fluent Europe Training - Combustion Modelling
The length of the course is one day. Training is from 9.15am to 5.00pm. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
Prerequisites
This course assumes that the attendees have some understanding of fluid dynamics, heat transfer, turbulence and some basic knowledge of chemical reactions. While experience with FLUENT is not necessary it is advantageous.
Learning Objectives
- Introduce the attendees to the field of combustion modelling,
- Discuss issues related to combustion modelling,
- Present the various combustion models provided by FLUENT and discuss their range of applicability and limitations,
- Discuss related auxiliary models,
- Illustrate the application of the models by case studies,
- Provide guidelines for combustion modeling.
Course Agenda
Lectures:
- Introduction to combustion modeling,
- Combustion Model I,
- Combustion Model II,
