Fluent Europe Training - Overview of CFD for Project Managers
A stand-alone course providing an overview of CFD and its application for managers and evaluators of CFD projects. The intention of the course is to develop planning and evaluation skills.
The length of the course is one day. Training is from 9.15am to 5.00pm. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
Prerequisites
The course assumes you have no prior experience of working with any CFD package.
Learning Objectives
This course will review what CFD is and the application areas to which FLUENT may be easily applied. Areas covered include:
- Planning process behind a CFD project,
- Focusing models towards solving engineering problems.
- Quality issues highlighting source of errors and uncertainty,
- Development of quality measures,
- Evaluation of CFD results.
Course Agenda
Quality and evaluation of a CFD project will be inline with the guidelines recommended by the ERCOFTAC Special Interest Group "Quality and Trust in Industrial CFD" Fluent Europe is a member and contributor to ERCOFTAC.
