Fluent Europe Training - Airpak Introduction
The length of the course is three days. Training is from 9.15 am to 5.00 pm on each day. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
Prior experience requirement
The course assumes you have no prior experience of working with any of our software.
Learning Objectives
Preprocessing
By the end of this course you should be able to:
- create 3d geometries using Airpak,
- mesh 3d geometries using the structured and unstructured grid approach,
- examine the quality of the mesh.
Processing
For a given problem you should be able to:
- select appropriate physical models,
- define material properties,
- prescribe boundary and operating conditions,
- set solver controls,
- set up solution convergence monitors,
- provide an initial solution.
Postprocessing
- display and examine results.

Day 1: Introductory Training

- Physical Modeling and Solving the Problem
- Tutorial: Local Laboratory Exhaust.
Day 2: Introductory Training

- Post Processing,
- Exercises: Post Processing,
- Transient Problems,
- Exercises: Transient Problems,
- Exercises: Model Building,
- Miscellaneous Topics,
- Tutorial: VOC Emissions from copier.
Day 3: Workshop Day.
Workshop:
Trainees have the opportunity of working on their own modelling problems with the help of Fluent Europe's engineers. This session is an important part of the course. Please bring with you as much information as possible about your application, or send us details along with your registration form.
