Renault F1 Team Increases its Investment in CFD Software

Formula 1 racing team, Renault F1 Team has continued its investment in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software, with the investment in two additional seats from Fluent Europe Ltd.
Renault F1 has been a FLUENT user for over ten years tackling a wide range of automotive and aerodynamic design issues. Commenting on the deal, Senior CFD Engineer, Matthew Laight said:
"We are continuing to develop our use of CFD software and services. F1 is constantly about improving the design and speed of the cars and we believe that the FLUENT software will help us to optimise this process. The code is easy to use, robust and will assist Renault F1 with innovative designs."
