Description

Manage the generation of direct new business sales of ANSYS Software in the UK territory defined, working for the Regional Sales Director, ANSYS UK and the appropriate Territory Sales Manager.

  • Formal line manager will be the UK Regional Sales Director, however most day to day sales related issues will be handled by the Territory Manager concerned.
  • Work with Territory Manager to define and implement a sales strategy.
  • Develop and implement a sales plan for major accounts.
  • Provide sales planning, forecasting and review to Territory Manager.
  • Where required, collaborate with indirect sales channel for ANSYS, ICEM and CFX.
  • Leverage CAD vendors, hardware vendors and software partners to maximize opportunity.
  • Be based from the ANSYS office in the Sheffield area but prepared to travel as required to visit customers.
  • In addition to New Business sales, will be expected to actively engage in existing account management.
  • Work with other members of the UK sales and marketing team to define the marketing requirements for the territory.
  • And other job related duties that may be assigned by management from time to time.

Minimum Requirements

  • Good sales experience in the CAD/CAM/CAE industry, demonstrating a track record over at least 8 quarterly cycles.
  • Self motivated with a drive and desire to win.
  • Team player with ability to work with and motivate the reseller channel.
  • An approachable character, somebody people would like to buy from.
  • Engineering degree or similar (may be waived if candidate has significant CAE software sales experience).
  • Excellent business acumen.
  • Well presented, smart and business like.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
