Advanced Turbulence Modelling

 

The length of the course is one day.

Training is from 9:00am to 5:30pm.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

Prerequisites

This course assumes that the attendees have some understanding of fluid dynamics, heat transfer, turbulence and experience with FLUENT 5/6.

  • Reynolds Averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) modeling approach
  • Low Reynolds number turbulence models in FLUENT
  • Large Eddy Simulation (LES) turbulence model in FLUENT
  • Near wall treatment options within FLUENT
  • Modeling turbulent flow problems with FLUENT
  • Turbulent flow examples.
