Training is from 9:00am to 5:00pm.

Introduction to ANSYS CFX

Introduction to ANSYS CFX is a modular set of courses, which we offer each two months (Monday-Thursday). The modules cover geometry creation, unstructured meshing (tetrahedral and prism elements), and problem set-up, solution and analysis. A mixture of lectures and workshop sessions gives attendees the opportunity for hands-on practice. You can choose to attend the full course or select those days that fit your needs. A discount applies to the fee for the full course. Please refer to the Registration Form for further details.

• Day 1: Creation of Geometry using DesignModeler
The use of DesignModeler for CFD applications. The course includes import of existing CAD, and creation/modification of geometry.

• Day 2 - morning: Meshing using CFX-Mesh
Generation of unstructured meshes using the Advancing Front method of CFX-Mesh.

• Day 3 & Day 4: Solver and Post-processing
Model set-up in CFX-Pre, running the solver and analysis of results in CFX-Post.
