Description

Fluent Benelux, which is part of ANSYS, is looking for a CFD Engineer to join our world-class CFD engineering staff in Wavre, Belgium.  In this role, you will interact with clients providing expert advice, training and guidance on the use of our software.  You will be involved in applications consulting projects where you will have the opportunity to take responsibility for complex analyses to meet the demanding requirements of our clients.  You will also contribute to marketing activities.

Minimum Requirements

The successful candidate will have the following:

• A degree and/or post-graduate qualification in engineering or a related field.
• A strong background in at least one relevant area from : fluid mechanics, turbulence, heat transfer, multiphase or reacting flows.
• Skills in engineering problem solving, written and oral communication and project management.
• Fluency in French and English.  A good knowledge of Dutch would be an advantage

Industrial experience is not essential but the candidate should be able to demonstrate an awareness of industrial application of CFD, and the ability to communicate effectively with engineers working in industry.  Experience in the use of commercial CFD, CAD and mesh generation software will be seen as an advantage, as would an aptitude to innovate and to develop new engineering applications of CFD.

Suitable qualified and experienced candidates will be considered for appointment at a higher grade.
