The Department of Defense (DoD) is pursuing the rapid development of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV), to support critical surveillance and tactical missions. General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. is a market leader in the development of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. This technology is advancing quickly, and demands dramatically shortened design cycles. Fluent CFD analysis was used in the design process to help reduce design cycles, while ensuring performance specifications were met.
