KSB Aktiengesellschaft used FLUENT to examine the performance of their new diffuser and casing design of their boiler pump. FLUENT showed that the total pressure loss for the new design was reduced by almost 50% when compared to the previous one, leading to a significant improvement in pump efficiency.
