Cygnus Inc. eliminated the need for many years of physical testing in the development of their continuous glucose monitor. Using CFD, Cygnus was able to evaluate multiple design options without building prototypes. This activity dramatically reduced their time to market. As a result, CFD analysis will continue to play a crucial role in the development of future generations of the GlucoWatch™ and spin-off products.
