Settlement Tanks

With flow modeling, you can accurately model settlement tanks. Water with suspended solids enters the sedimentation tank through a central inlet. The water flows across the sedimentation tank in a radial direction. As the water moves radially, the solids settle to the bottom and are removed through sludge scraping mechanisms. Effluent, relatively free from suspended solids exits the sedimentation tank through the effluent channel.
