The multiphase flow modeling features in FLUENT offer companies designing fuel systems a broad range of capabilities that provide engineering insight not readily available from experiment and predict design performance all while reducing cost. Fuel tank sloshing, fuel filling analysis including fuel vapor emission studies and prediction of climatic effects are some examples of where CFD is currently applied.
