The purpose of this tutorial is to illustrate the setup and solution of the 2D laminar fluid flow over a flat plate. This type of flow is of interest to study the convective heat transfer and the development of thermal boundary layer. Heat transfer is highly dependent on the Reynolds number (based on the plate length). It may be observed how the Nusselt number varies with Reynolds number.
