FLUENT for CATIA V5 3.1 & 4.0 Supported Platforms

Memory Size

A minimum of 512 MB RAM is required, however, 1-2 GB RAM is recommended. The actual memory required for a particular problem will depend on the mesh, the physical models that are enabled, and the complexity of the domain. Please contact installation support, installsup@fluent.com, for more information.

Disk Space Requirements

FLUENT for CATIA V5 4.0 for R17 & R18	250 MB
FloWizard advanced post-processing	175 MB

The disk space requirements mentioned above do not include CATIA V5 and FLUENT for CATIA V5 pre-requisites MD2 and GPS. FMS and FMD are recommended for high fidelity CFD. Storage for user files (case, data, and post-processing files) will vary by problem and require additional space.

Graphics Support

License Server Software

Fluent family of products from ANSYS use FLEXlm for license management. If you choose to employ the FLEXlm floating manager on a Windows network, your network server must be running Microsoft Windows XP Pro, or Windows 2003 Server.
