SCAI

The Fraunhofer-Institute for Algorithms and Scientific Computing (SCAI) offers studies, order computations and the development of software and algorithms. SCAI uses standard simulation tools adjusted to the needs of its customers. SCAI’s services range from modeling the application problem and choosing the adequate simulation tools and methods to the computations on high-performance computers.

Fraunhofer SCAI has developed the interface standard MpCCI which enables a direct coupling of simulation codes from different vendors. Examples for the application of MpCCI are fluid-structure-interactions, thermal coupling, or interactions between electromagnetic fields and fluid or structural components.
