Pointwise, Inc. develops, markets, and supports Gridgen®, an easy to use software package for creating hybrid, structured, and unstructured grids for computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis. Gridgen is known for producing high quality grids that provide more accurate CFD results and faster solution convergence. Additionally, it automatically repairs grid gaps and overlaps caused by defects in imported CAD geometries, thus saving time and aggravation that would normally be spent in geometry cleanup. In addition to neutral formats IGES and STEP, Gridgen can import CAD geometry from native CAD files without using a CAD software license.
