A Note from the Boss

by Lisa Mesaros, PhD, Automotive Industry Team Leader
Welcome to our first issue of Automotive CFD News. We'll be sending you this electronic news update on a regular basis. Its purpose is to keep you updated with the latest information on Fluent software, training, and support for automotive users specifically. We intend it to be short, easy-to-digest and useful. Feel free to contact me with feedback or story ideas, lmm@fluent.com

Fluent Ann Arbor Doubles in Size, Adds Training Facility

We're happy to report that the Ann Arbor office expansion is now complete. Along with doubling our office space and adding several new staff members, we have also added a modern training facility which is outfitted with high performance HP workstations. This year, 10 scheduled introductory training sessions will be held in Ann Arbor. This local training capability will help you keep your travel costs down, and hopefully enable you to train more engineers to use FLUENT. The large number of courses offered gives you flexibility to work training into the best times during the year for your work cycle.

In the near future, we will also be offering advanced training classes from our Ann Arbor facility, on specialized topics such as TGrid, User Defined Functions, and Heat Transfer.
