Engineering Conferences International and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers are co-sponsoring the fourth conference in the series on “Computational Fluid Dynamics in Chemical Reaction Engineering” at the Il Ciocco Hotel and Conference Center, Barga, Italy, June 19-24, 2005. The conference is dedicated to reaction engineering with an emphasis on the application of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to reacting and/or multiphase flows. Previous conferences in this series were held in San Diego (1996), Quebec (1999), and Davos (2003). The program will feature sessions devoted to reacting and non-reacting single-phase and multiphase flows in industrial applications. Sessions on non- Newtonian applications, polymer processing, and micro-scale reactors will also be held. For more information, visit the conference website, www.engconfintl.org/, or contact one of the three conference co-chairs, Professor Anthony Dixon, Worcester Polytechnic Institute (agdixon@wpi.edu), Professor Harry van den Akker, Delft University of Technology (secr@klft.tn.tudelft.nl), or Ahmad Haidari, Fluent (ah@fluent.com).
