His extensive CFD background in aerospace and turbulence modeling stretches back to 1982, with experience in both China and Japan. Today, he oversees five technical support teams at Fluent Asia Pacific's Tokyo office. He characterizes their primary objectives: "Japanese engineers are very demanding and expect frequent communication with and advice from their CFD support engineers. Not only do we provide this level of contact with our clients, we also continually review and improve upon our performance by gathering information from annual user surveys, UGM surveys, and face to face meetings. Our technical teams concentrate on specific industry sectors. In this way, each team possesses expert technical knowledge to meet the needs of the clients that they serve."
