Fluent Donates Airpak Software to a Vermont High School

In September, we donated Airpak, our new HVAC design software package, and four computers to Hartford High School located in White River Junction, Vermont. The software is being used by the applied math class at Hartford High to evaluate the heating and cooling patterns and comfort indices for some of the classrooms within the school. The goal of the project is to show the students some real world applications for mathematics, science, and physics. It will hopefully give them a better appreciation of how these subjects fit into the everyday world.

This project was the brainchild of Ms. Susan Kohnowich, the applied math teacher at Hartford High School. Ms. Kohnowich was introduced to Fluent through the Upper Valley Business Exchange Partnership (UVBEP). UVBEP's charter is to promote partnerships between businesses and educators in the Upper Valley of New Hampshire and Vermont. Fluent is proud to be a member of this partnership.
